Serene Therapy and Wellness is a private practice led by
Annie Phannick, LCSW, a clinician dedicated to the transformative power of human connection and nervous system attunement.
We provide a welcoming, culturally sensitive, and affirming space for individuals and couples to move beyond life’s challenges and toward a sense of lasting vitality. By integrating attachment science with nervous system regulation, we help you bridge the gap between where you are and the deeper connection you desire- with yourself and the most important people in your life.
Pronouns: She/her
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia, graduated from the University of Denver in 2018 with my Master's in Social Work. My graduate clinical internship, facilitating groups for survivors of childhood sexual trauma, informed my understanding of how systemic and personal trauma can reshape the nervous system and disrupt an individual’s physical health and mental well-being. I found deep purpose in connecting with clients and providing a supportive space where they can bravely explore their emotional experiences. In 2020, I worked in addictions counseling, helping adults through crisis and to regain control over their life. I transitioned to private practice in 2022, where I focused on helping individuals and couples strengthen their connection to themselves and each other.
My path as a therapist is guided by a belief in the power of relationships, emotional connection, and the wisdom of the nervous system. I integrate attachment science with neuroscience-informed strategies to help you understand the language of your own nervous system. Whether we are using Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore your internal world, EMDR to process past trauma, or Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen your partnership, my goal is to help you create a sense of safety that lives in your body, not just your mind.
Ultimately, I am committed to helping you build resilience, foster healthy relationships, and achieve lasting change. I look forward to walking alongside you as you rediscover your path to connection.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me recharging in nature, enjoying live music, or spending time with loved ones and my dog. I’m also a fan of exploring the more 'mystical' side of life- I find astrology, numerology, and energy work to be fascinating tools for self-reflection.
